Nassau County (NY) ARES

Current Events

We hold in-person meetings are typically held on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month at 1930 hours. These meetings are usually hybrid meetings via Zoom. Location is usually at the American Red Cross HQ, located at 195 Willis Ave in Mineola but may be held at the Nassau County OEM. See About for maps.

Each year we also conduct a simulated emergency test (SET), possibly in conjunction with Red Cross or Fire Battalion exercises.

We typically assist with 3 to 4 public service events each year as well.
